Just doing what I love :) 95% no references (I did briefly look at a viking ship to get the shape in my head).

I don't think it'll be everyones cup-of-tea but I enjoyed doing this one. Landscapes tend to relax me even the ones that I make up in my head :)

I travel abroad a lot in my day job which is great, but my favorite part of the whole thing is the home journey. I imagine it's been the same for travellers throughout time :)

My feelings are mixed regarding this piece. For me it evokes either a peaceful feeling of coming home, and a pinch of sadness due to the sky. But maybe that's just me. (I prefer the 9am to 4pm skies haha!)

Nevertheless, another awesome werk.

Well the mountains don't feel like they belong in Scandinavia (ok possibly norway.. possibly.. some of the mountains and fjords there aer pretty amazing), but the feeling in this is awesome, great work! *faves*

Don't be silly. It's those places in our head that make our hearts soar.
This is wonderful. I love the way the tallest peak dissappears into the low hanging clouds, and the way the viking ship almost fades in the distance.
A well done landscape is rapture for me...
