Your work is loaded to the brim with awesome and them some. Really liking the perspective in this and the clouds gently rolling away to the horizon.

Nicely done; from the reflection of the rocks to the clouds and moon on the background... :D

hey, if you don't mind me asking; how much time does it take you to finish a traditional painting like this? just curious, you know...

Thanks very much, I think this one took around 7 to 8 hours but normally I would say anywhere between 6 - 12 hours depending on how much detail is required. If I spent more time I could probably refine even more, but I get bored after 3-4 sittings.

Welcome Bill, and BTW, I'm glad to see another traditional work from you. You're great either way, but you know me and my traditional preferences.

I'm actually glad to hear that Bill. So, we can look forward to more traditional works? Damn, I'm pushy, huh? Sorry about that.

Really, I'm just kidding though. I really do like your work, no matter what medium you work in. Keepem' comin'

The concept, the clouds, the translucency of the water. OMG, FLOORED. This would be a nice display pic in a room and stuff. Faving this now.

Thanks James, It's a 15th century proverb which means something like; fish for the clergy, flesh for the rich and smoked herring for the poor. Which is a way of describing someone or thing that doesn't fit with the general populace.

Wow! This is incredible, Bill! The textures and colors here are fantastic. I love the reflections of the rocks in the water, and all of the waters little waves, it flows so well.

I have to agree with the comment above, indeed a very relaxing painting to look at.
