Through the industry of self honesty I will overcome my fear. Challenging myself with the principles of my craft. I will create by means that are fair and work twice as hard to acheive the results I seek.

I will swim the river to the sea and find the ocean that is me,
No longer lying in a field of dreams, but chasing clouds to new horizons.
So I promised myself.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm a little rusty with the acrylics, but the need to paint something tangible has been driving me crazy!! It's a nice break from portraiture at the moment :D

Neat piece, Bill. There's a quality in this that just kinda calls out, like I can relate to it in some way. It's sorta fascinating that way.

I love the lively feeling of the background, it feels like there's a lot of energy and life going on in the painting. The figure is my favourite part though, I like its motion and slender limbs.
